Nowhere Cinema is a pop-up theater in Richmond, VA. Started in April 2025, Nowhere is a creative outlet for us weirdo movie lovers. You can expect fun, bizarre, and challenging films, thoughtfully paired by similar themes or the same director.
For our regular screenings, we use a pay-what-you-can model with a $6 minimum. Tickets help us pay the licensing fee to our film distributors. Want to come to a movie but can’t swing the ticket right now? Shoot us an email, and we’ll make sure you can go.

We are also the caretakers and keepers of Historic Masons’ Hall, the oldest building in America continuously used for masonic purposes, a Virginia Historic Landmark and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Our brotherhood continues to thrive to this day and our doors are open to the community and visiting brethren from both near and far.

In 2017, Spotty Dog was born from delivering free ice cream samples to our Church Hill neighbors. Slowly but surely, word spread. By Spring 2018, Spotty Dog was selling scoops at pop ups and markets throughout Richmond. After five years of slingin’ our stuff around town, we opened our first parlor in Church Hill/Union Hill in October 2022.
When middle school students participate in music, sports, and the arts, they discover new talents, grow in confidence, and develop leadership skills. However, for families in our area facing financial hardship, the cost of equipment and fees can be overwhelming.
Together, we can remove these barriers. With your help, Start 1 Spark provides students in need with the means to participate in their school’s extracurricular activities.
