The 43rd Street Festival of the Arts is a juried fine arts and craft show featuring 75+ local and regional artisans, music and food. The annual festival is organized with the help of the neighborhood pottery studio, 43rd Street Studio and others.

Through emergency shelter, housing services, youth programs, and community support, we work alongside families to help them achieve stability, self-sufficiency, and lasting success.

Founded in 1984, The Rotary Club of Western Henrico County meets every Tuesday morning and is nonpolitical, nonreligious, and open to all cultures, races, and creeds. As an expectation of being a member of our club, each Rotarian is asked to participate in our meetings, service projects, and fundraisers. There is an opportunity for each member to choose how his/her skills fit within a wide variety of club activities.

RVA Pieces, The Richmond Chess Club, exists to foster a thriving environment and active community for casual and competitive chess in our city, as well as provide access to stellar chess education for everyone, regardless of age or skill level.

The Hippodrome Theater is located in Historic Jackson Ward; which became known as the “Harlem of the South,” a reference to its Black heritage, culture and its musical tradition. In its heyday, the likes of Billie Holiday, Louis Armstrong, and Duke Ellington performed at the Hippodrome.
The Springs Croquet Club plays the sports of American Six Wicket Croquet and Golf Croquet at The Springs Recreation Center in Henrico, County, Virginia. 302 Lee Ave, Highland Springs, VA 23075.
The Springs Croquet Club is one of a few municipal clubs in the United States. Henrico County Recreation & Parks generously makes the court available, maintains the court year round, and provides top grade equipment for players’ use. Users play for free.
