The Office of Immigrant and Refugee Engagement (OIRE) strengthens connections between Richmond’s immigrant communities and City services. We provide information, resources, and advocacy to ensure equitable access and meaningful engagement for all residents. Our mission is to improve the quality of life of immigrants and refugees by increasing their access to City and community-based services and resources, and by promoting education and civic participation.
In celebration of Immigrant Heritage Month and World Refugee Day, Richmond’s Office of Immigrant and Refugee Engagement, Henrico County’s Outreach & Engagement Agency and ReEstablish Richmond are partnering to host this year’s Multicultural Festival: Imagine 2026 on June 27th from 1pm – 8pm at Richmond Raceway!
